I have a rectangular room (offset) aprox 450 sq ft. The ceiling is vaulted with half at 10' 6" height to peak and the other half at 12' 6". A wood stove is placed in a corner of the lower ceiling area. What is best placement of fan to destratify heat? Will one fan in about center work or is two best??

I cant visualize your room. Perhaps if you sent me a picture or drawing via email, that would help.

As best as I can tell, I think two fans would be a good idea.

Thanks for your advice. I will take a photo and see if I can put it on this site. My instinct says your right about two fans. Later.....
