General \ General chat & feedback \ Operating instructions

I just bought a home with a Hampton Bay ceiling fan & light assembly in the kitchen. When I went thru the inspection process, all parts of the fan worked. I closed on the property a few days ago and when I got in, neither fan nor light worked. The remote's LCD display works. All breakers on. Tried all combos of light switches. All to no avail. The previous owner must've packed the instruction manual when he moved -- he left nothing. Is there an instruction manual online somewhere?

Found another post looking for instructions. You said generic ones can be seen on the site, but WHERE on the site?

If a remote fan doesnt work, first check the dip switches to be sure they match re:

It's possible one changed positions. Otherwise it's likely a bad receiver.
