Well, its good to hear the direct replacement is still available. Just hope its nothing more than the capacitor.

This is what I'm looking for, correct? I haven't opened the fan up to see if its a 4 or 5uf, but I might just buy both for that price. There's a Grainger branch down the street from my office.

If it was previously running fine, and the blades spin freely by hand, replacing the cap should solve the problem.
