Ceiling Fan Help \ Ceiling Fan Problems \ Hunter classic original. Bad capacitor
Sundevil Posted on 7/31/2010 5:29:15 AM
I have a Hunter classic original from about 2001.

The capacitor is shot and I'm trying to find a new one. I removed the 2 wire capacitor and the capacitance is not written on it. I called Hunter and they wouldn't tell me the capacitance since they don't want customers repairing it themselves.
The part number on the capacitor is 63757-02.
The fan model is 23856.
I just need the capacitance only. Then I can order a capacitor direct from one the of part suppliers on the internet.
Thanks

PS for some reason this is way harder than it should be!!
