I want to use a two bulb light kit that I already have on my Kichler ceiling fan. There is a blue and white wire with connectors on the end that are labeled "for use with light kit connection". I am assuming if I have a Kichler light kit, all I have to do is plug it into the fan receptical. Can I snip this off and connect the black and white wires to these blue and white ones? If so, does black go with blue?
