Ceiling Fan Help \ Ceiling Fan Problems \ detaching a light kit
3graces Posted on 7/12/2008 9:58:10 PM
We have a Harbor breeze ceiling fan/light kit combo [which works just fine]. I wanted to remove the light kit, and found that I couldn't because the pull switch for the fan, and the reverse switch as well, were hard wired into the light kit.

Do I have to replace the whole unit, or is there something on the market avialable that wouls allow me to keep the fan, but lose the lighhts?
