1) on my hampton bay ceiling fan, it worked all fine a week ago. then i took it down from ceiling and put back. the fan not run forward (counter-wise, for summer). 2). how do i reduce the speed on slowest setting 3?

Is it a remote fan? If not, there should be a reversing switch on the fan body.

thanks. this is not remote set. yes, there is a reverse switch. yesterday i re-checked the reverse switch and found the wire on the 'forward' position got loose. i snapped it tightly and now it is working.
