My fan was working fine till the remote control asked for new batteries, I replaced the batteries, got an err messge on the remote control, then the normal screen apprear on the remote control again after I removes and re-install the batteries. I then try to turn on the fan, and nothing happen. (Normally it would "click" and the fan will turn).
My fan had a pull cord, but that wouldn't do anything. The fan appeared to be purchased from SEARS with the model on the fan (GPC-52-4L), I can't find any manufacturer name on it. The remotes control had the name "designer's choice" on it, got 4 setting, H,M,L,LL (it got setting for both fan and light, but I don't have the light on the fan. There is an "antenna" like wire sticking out of the base of the fan.
Please help
