I've got (2) 52"hampton bay fans with light kit in my master bedroom. I installed both fans in may 2007. both fans up till now worked fan and were powered by (2)seperate single pole wall switches. we kept wall switches for each fan always ON and we used the pull chains to operate fan/lights. decided to UPGRADE to wall switches that controlled both so I purchased 2 harbor breeze wall controls and installed them. I set Dip switches to seperate numbers (VERIFIED several times) Result is one fan works great but the other fan QUIT working. Checked this fan and I have power at wall switch, and on both sides of the Fan reciever. did this fan simply die? I even tried hooking it back up to regular wall switch and still nothing. tried pulling fan/light chains several times and nothing also verified power at old wall switch and fan ...nothing. sorry for the long post but I wanted to cover each step.oh and I took wall control unit in question back and exchanged it and installed.... still nothing???

Does neither the light nor the fan, on the dead fan, work?
