I just installed a new 52 inch ''Turn of the Century'' ceiling fan. It came with a remote control.I get a response for all the buttons on the contraol with the exception of high speed.

Light and dimmer work fine. Low and medium speeds work fine.

When I hit the high speed button the fan shuts down.

Any ideas ?

Take the fan back to Menards. Something is defective.
