Hello,
Not sure what brand ceiling fan I have, but the chain for the light has an SMC. The chain for the fan has always been missing since we bought the house so I am not sure if it is a 2 or 3 or 4 speed. I decided to replace it and bought a 3 speed pull chain. I installed exactly as the other was installed, but the fan only works on high speed regardless of how many times I pull the chain. It does turn off, but only has one speed - high. Any help would be appreciated. Mike |
