Hello,
I have a bedroom fan that the light and fan just all of the sudden stopped working. I have tried the following to no avail:
I made sure the light was not burnt out I tried swapping out the battery in the remote control Tried pulling on the fan strings many times while pressing the remote control buttons. Tried switching the forward/reverse switch Made sure the wires have a good connection Made sure there is no breaker that blew
I noticed that there's a capacitor inside the fan that has a CPP61 label on it. Could this capacitor cause both the light and fan not to work? Any other ideas? It seems strange that both the fan and light stopped working. The fan is connected to a light switch on the wall which I made sure is getting power. Thanks in advance!

Does the LED still light on the remote?
