We have a hunter fan that will not turn off when you use the pull chain. I took it apart and it has a switch (pull chain) and a 4 wire capacitor green and brown in one side and 2 grays out the other side. The switch and capacitor are put together by the factory. (Wired together). The fan will go high, med and low but no off. I am thinking that it is a switch problem. Am I correct? I have searched all over the web, but an unable to find a replacement integrated switch and capacitor. Help! please.

You can just cut the wires, or pull them out of the pullchain. MAKE NOTE OF WHERE THEY GO BEFORE YOU DO. ORder a new pullchain from http://www.hunterfan.com (call them) or http://www.ceilingfanparts.com
