Ceiling Fan Help \ Ceiling Fan Problems \ Wall switch obsolete
NuTone Posted on 9/14/2009 4:09:29 PM
I have a 15 year old or so Nutone electronic ceiling fan, with a "select-touch" 4-rocker,(fan, light, frwd/rev,prog), and 1 selector (power on/off).

I cannot find this obsolete wall switch. It appears that this fan was made by Halsey, which also made Sierra, and Home-Star/Homestead, out of Calif. Casablanca bought Homestead, and has a similar 4/5 function 3-rocker switch on their intelli-touch series..( Which I also own, and also need 1 wall switch for as well...)

Can you help me find a switch that will replace the broken ones?? Or someone reasonable that can do a repair?? (efanpaarts.com cannot help....)

http://www.casablancafanrepair.com for the casablanca switch. or http://www.ebay.com will be a lot cheaper.

For the Nutone switch, try http://www.ceilingfanparts.com and also try http://www.nutone.com

If those people cant help you, then I'm sorry, your only option is rewiring the fan without the switch control (difficult) or replacing the fan. Too bad, because they are great fans, one of comparable quality runs $300+ today.
