Ceiling Fan Help \ Ceiling Fan Problems \ Haunted ceiling fan
Author Messages Date Posted
iriswoman Yesterday when I turned my ceiling fan/lights on they came on for about 20 seconds and promptly went out. The light would not turn on and neither would the fan. Assuming it was the wall switch I removed the switch and hard wired the connection planning to use the remote to power the fan until I could go get another switch. Still no go. Today while my husband was in the bedroom the light came on for a couple of minutes then went back off again. Any ideas what is happening here?

Thanks,

Dana

cfanrepair Is this a hard wired RF wall switch? Two wires, but controls fan and light? If so, you need to change the frequency of the fan and control. See our document on Remote Troubleshooting for instructions on how to do that. 3/19/2008
