Ceiling Fan Help \ Ceiling Fan Problems \ Hunter fan quit. Nothing works.

I have a hunter ceiling fan with lights. It gradually stopped working, then everything stopped. The lights and fan do not work. It makes no noises. It doesn't respond to light switch, remote control or chain pulled. Have replace batter in remote and the light blinks on it.


What could this be? Light switch? Fan switch? Motor?

Where should I start to find the problem?

PS I have checked the breaker and it's not that.

First check the dip switches and be sure they match. See:

Open the fan at the ceiling, remove the remote receiver, wire the fan without it. See if it works from the pullchain. See:
