Has this happened to anyone?
I have a Hampton Bay ceiling fan with light kit. The light switch was going bad, so I replaced it. No problem, just took the old switch out, matched up the wires in the same way, etc., etc. The light works great.
But, now the fan blades don't turn. I didn't touch the wires for the fan switch, other than to move them out of the way. They all seem to be joined just fine with plastic connectors, no loose wires. Obviously, power is getting to the unit since the lights work.
What could possibly have gone wrong?? Should I bother replacing the fan switch--or just bite the bullet and call an electrician?

Well, fixed the fan! I learned my lesson--don't let the fan dangle by the wires at all as you're disassembling it. Seems I must have pulled one of the wires ever so slightly loose when I did so. A tiny shove back into its connector and all is well.

Glad you got it working.
