Just joined. First entry. I've got 12/12 pitch ceilings and will hang fans from log purlins (beams). Some fans will be inside and some outside. My downrods may be as long as 6 feet. does anybody manufacture or ever used a bracket or sleeve for fitting to the downrod from which two support legs would attach to the slanted roof? That would effectively create a tripod (down rod + two legs) My outdoor fans will be especially suceptable to wind and such additional support should prevent any wobble. Thanks
