Ceiling Fan Help \ Ceiling Fan Problems \ Hampton Bay 52" remote ceiling fan

I have the Cabrerra 52" ceiling fan and it's been acting wacky lately. The light has been going on by itself. It changes speeds and direction on it's own. Why is this happening? Can it be fixed? Will Home Depot give me a replacement since it has a lifetime warranty? Advice anyone.

Change the dip switches in the remote and receiver.

Do you think that will work? Where are the switches located in the fan

It's the first thing to try.

USUALLY they are in the ceiling canopy. See the link I provided.
