Fan runs at any speed and then shuts off after 10 min-/+ I turn off the switch (no remote) and after some time I turn it on and it works again as before for 5-10 min It is a Hampton Bay new in 2005 and has done this since it eas installed I use it very little.

| it sounds like the motor overload is tripping. does the fan feel hot at the motor housing. if not, then it is probaly a defective motor | ||||||
