Ceiling Fan Help \ Ceiling Fan Problems \ Low Air Flow

I just replaced a 52" ceiling fan in our master bedroom with a 60+" fan. The fan blades have a more steep pitch to move more air, according to the sales person (he stated that we will most likely run it on high). Since installing it, we noticed that we feel the air for about 1-2 minutes after the fan gets up to speed. However, soon after, we feel little to no air. I can feel a large amount of air flow to the sides of the fan blades, but nothing below. Reversing the fan does not help. Has anybody had this problem? Thanks for your help!

Generally speaking household fans larger than 52" arent very effective. It's a gimmick. A quality 52" fan will move more air, and, if that's not enough, a quality industrial fan (I recommend Envirofan Gold Line) will move even more.
