Ceiling Fan Help \ Ceiling Fan Problems \ Hunter 4 wire motor
LouisO Posted on 4/25/2009 3:52:46 PM
Have a Hunter 25730 that remote no longer works with, and would like to wire up for use with a wall switch.

Out of the motor I have the following wires...Red, Grey, Yellow and Pink.

Anyone have knowledge of what wire get connected to Live / Neutral to just make it work with a wall switch at highest speed in normal direction for cooling effect.

You can hit me up directly at if you prefer.

It's a very tricky task, and I wouldnt recommend it. It's PSC motor so the capacitor has to be wired in. I couldnt tell you offhand how to wire it without seeing it.
