Ceiling Fan Help \ Ceiling Fan Problems \ Steel Tensioners for Light kit
karins Posted on 4/3/2009 1:13:24 PM
WE have a Hampton Bay Redington III ceiling fan (since 2002). works perfect and are happy with it.

Broke one of the steel tensioners when cleaning glass globes. Where can I get replacement parts?
(called the 800-number for Hampton Bay and it is not working; fast-busy after dialing).
Help would be appreciated!

What is a steel tensioner?

The only way to get Hampton Bay parts is to call them, their numbers are listed in our sticky.

I think I am looking for the same part only I didn't know what to call it. Steel tensioners are the sorta u-shaped steel parts that hold the lamps on the fan.
Did you ever find the parts? My local home depot did not have them (and didn't know what they were since they do not carry the fan any longer).
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

so where is the sticky tht has the Hampton Bay mfg. phone number.
I hope it's not the page with multiple numbers that the poster doesn't know if the phone numbers are valid.
