Does ANYONE know where to purchase a 4 wire 3 speed ceiling fan switch that is the exact equivalent to a KTE 3089 4 Wire 3 Speed Switch? I can not find a KTE 3089 anywhere and I have no way to purchase online or over the phone. I don't care who manufactures the equivalent switch. I live in a small rural community in Southeast Iowa. The KTE 3089 4 Wire 3 Speed Switch is an L,1,2,3. The positions are as follows with O being an OPEN:
Position 1 = L+1+2+3 Position 2 = L+O+2+3 Position 3 = L+1+O+3 Position 4 = L+1+2+O
ANY help is greatly appreciated! Thanx in advance!

The problem is the numbers dont match. Two switches can have the same number and be different, or different numbers and be the same. What make fan is it out of?

This is out of a WallyWorld cheapie. I think Litex is the actual manufacturer. It was from 2006. It is an Impressions 42" brass hugger. I noticed on some sales sites that the Aloha Breeze 42" brass hugger with the school or classroom light is identicle in appearance. The stickers on the fan motor are extremely hard to read and I can't really tell which model number is the fan assembly and which is the motor model. Anyway, here are both model numbers on the motor:
BRC425B4LKAW CP42 AC 120V 60 Hz <--- (The P might be an F)

ORIGINAL PROBLEM: Does ANYONE know where to purchase a 4 wire 3 speed ceiling fan switch that is the exact equivalent to a KTE 3089 4 Wire 3 Speed Switch? I can not find a KTE 3089 anywhere and I have no way to purchase online or over the phone. I don't care who manufactures the equivalent switch. I live in a small rural community in Southeast Iowa. EXCELSIOR!!! 3 SOLUTIONS:
1) KTE 3089 4 WIRE 3 SPEED SWITCH. I have discovered where the original switch is online. Be very careful because several of these switches have the exact same model number. You HAVE to know what circuit the fan is using. In my case, the switch is a KTE 3089 CIRCUIT B.

2) JIN-YOU A05, 4 WIRE, 3 SPEED SWITCH. This website shows the cam design and the position combinations. You will need to know what the inside of your original switch looks like.

3) ZING EAR ZE-208S GREY/GREY, 4 WIRE, 3 SPEED SWITCH. Ken's Electronics was by far the most informative website! Be careful here also. The switches all use the same model number too. The trick with these is, you MUST know the color of the casing of the switch. I originally bought from WallyWorld the ZING EAR ZE-208S RED/BLACK which will NOT work for me. This might help somebody else, it's outputs are the following:
High = Position 1 = L+1 Med = Position 2 = L+2 Low = Position 3 = L+3 Off = Position 4 = unknown
The correct switch I need for my fan is the ZING EAR ZE-208S GREY/GREY. It's outputs match the KTE 3089 CIRCUIT B as follows:
High = Position 1 = L+1+2+3 Med = Position 2 = L+2+3 Low = Position 3 = L+1+3 Off = Position 4 = L+1+2

I hope this sheds light on everybody's situations. Good Luck!!!
