Ceiling Fan Help \ Ceiling Fan Problems \ Installing a light kit to an older HB fan

I have just purchased a ceiling fan light kit for a Hampton Bay ceiling fan. The light kit wires (black and white) have connectors on the ends. The installation instructions refer to disconnecting the molded connectors from the reverse module - but in the model I have the wires are soldered. There are a white and black wire with a screw connector in the fan however. But I don't see anywhere to connect the molded connectors that the light kit came with. Help.

Cut the connectors off. Wire nut the wires to the two wires in the fan labeled "for light", usually blue and white.
