Ceiling Fan Help \ Ceiling Fan Problems \ Installing a light kit

I am trying to install a Harbor Breeze four-light Antique White Glass Kit onto a Hampton Bay ceiling fan. (I don't have any electrical or wiring experience.)

It looks fairly simple to me, connecting the two wires to the two wires, white with white and black with blue. The problem I have is with the "molex plug" that is mentioned in the light kit instructions. What is the molex plug? I don't see it up inside the switch housing on the fan. The instructions say I have to disconnect that molex plug in order to remove the switch housing.

Is the molex plug the round switch that connects to the pullchain outside that controls the speed?
Is it even necessary to remove the switch housing? This is where I'm stuck.

If you can access the blue and white wire without removing anything else or any sort of plugs, then you're fine :)

Molex is a type of connector widely used in electronics. They are usually milky white with recessed male and female contacts. They come in the most amazing variety of shapes and sizes. An example of one you might have seen would be the 4 wire power connector from the computer power supply to a disk or cd drive.
