OK so i have a hampton bay fan in the bedroom of my house ~ we bought the house with it installed it has a remote with the little display and you can set it to run by temp and dimmer and so on... when we moved in if you turned on the wall switch it would turn everything on where it had been turned off at ~ meanig if we turned the wall switch off with fan on med and light at 50% that's where it would come back on when the wall swicth was turned back on ~ now if you turn the switch back on nothing ~ we have to try and hit some buttons to get it active again ~

so how do i get it back ?? to wall switch on everything back on where it was

thanx !!!!

Do the fan and light still work from the remote if you leave the wall switch on?

yes with the wall switch on everything works fine with the remote ~ the issue is just when you get home at night and turn on the switch i would like the light to come on ~ and like i said it used to ~ i just don't know how to get it back ~ i can only think it is a setting ~ thanx for the help

I dont think it's a setting. Most remote fans work like that, i.e. once you turn the wall switch off, and back on again, the fan and light stay off. Just leave the wall switch on and control everything with the remote.
