Ceiling Fan Help \ Ceiling Fan Problems \ Need to know factory dip switch setting of sidewinder

I have a sidewinder fan in a new house on a vaulted ceiling. The remote dip switches were played with. What is the factory setting for the sidewinder 54" ceiling fan model 312-342 so I can fix my remote? Thank you

My fan came with all zeros as default. If you have more than one fan, they may have been set sequentially (0, 1, 2). Check other remotes and see if you can make any sense of the way they were set, for instance if one fan is 'two', another to 'zero'. That would lead to a strong guess of 'one' for the messed up one. If you do not read binary,
0 is .... .... while
1 is .... ...| and
2 is .... ..|.
3 is .... ..||
4 is .... .|..

Good luck,
Mike

I agree. There is no factory setting, you'll have to try all combinations, or check the fan.
