Ceiling Fan Help \ Ceiling Fan Problems \ Casablanca Intellitouch w Blown Electronics

I have a Casablanca Intellitouch that is about 17 years old. When my house was hit by lightning, the electronics blew. The motor still works fine (and silently too, great bearings!). I want to bypass the electronics and wire directly to the Emerson K55 motor. Do you know where or how I can get info to fix it? Thanks!, Steve

You will need a 10mfd capacitor, you can pull the one off of the electronics. The motor will have 3 wires going to it. The capacitor goes to two of them, power goes to two of them. I dont remember the colors otherwise I could tell you which ones. You can check yourself with an ohm meter.
