Ceiling Fan Help \ Ceiling Fan Problems \ Hampton Bay light/fan issues

I have a HAmpton Bay celing fan/light with remote ~3 years old, has always worked well. Recently for no apparent reason the remote stopped working. Here is what I have checked:

Remote battery - Good
Light on remote - Good
Dip switch settings - Good (the same on remote and fan)
Power to fan - Good
Power through the remote sensing unit - none
If I replace the remote sensing unit, do I need a new remote and can I get these items at Home Depot?

You can PROBABLY just replace the receiver, which you order from Hampton Bay.

Does the fan have pullchains?

No pull chains. Do you have a phone number for Hampton Bay?

I bought a repalcement receiver with wall mounted remote at Home Depot ($30.00). I have not installed it yet, but am confident it will fix my problem.

Hampton Bay's phone number is in the sticky in this forum.

Let me know if you fixed your problem.
