| i have a harbor breeze fan (52'' baja), it's about 5 years old and has been working fine . but recenly switched it to reverse to see if it would help with a heating problem in the room . (it didn't help) so i switched it back ,and it won't go forward , only goes in reverse.(switch only works in one direction) any suggestions ? | ||||||

Probably the switch has gone bad. Try forcing it, and if that doesnt work, try replacing it. These switches are very standard. I'm assuming it works fine in the direction it is going? |

| thank you for the information on the switch.so i called lowe's 1800 number about the warranty , they got a hold of my local store where i purchaced it . long story short... got a brand new fan.(i had the orignal recept from 2003) | ||||||
