I just installed a Harbor Breeze non-remote fan in my living room. The fan at first would seem to have trouble getting going (no noise) and then would run at what seemed like low to medium speed and then gradually stop. Now it does not work at all. The light does work normally and I have triple checked the wiring in the canopy
Black to hot (black) white to neutral green to bare (ground) blue to black (hot)
This fan is new and was purchased at Lowes. My wife however has thrown away the box and the manual too.

1. Are you using a wall control?
2. Check the reverse switch
3. Do the blades turn freely by hand? Something may be in their path
4. Try our troubleshooting guide
5. Return the fan.
